MOYES IMPRESSES

Manchester United has dominated the Premier League since the year it was created back in 1992; the club won the title 13 times more than any other English club. The acquisition of Robin Van Persie from Arsenal brightened up things even more for them.

During the last few seasons, Wayne Rooney was the star for Manchester United by playing a pivotal role for the squad but ever since Robin Van Persie joined the club things have been taking a turn for English striker as he now plays in a different role.

The former Arsenal player started his career with Manchester United in an explosive way as he scored 26 goals in his 1st season with the club.

David Moyes took charge of the club after Sir. Alex Ferguson announced his retirement from coaching after leading Manchester United from 1986 until 2013.

Rooney and Moyes have already encountered problems when they met in Everton, this bad relationship has concerned Rooney making him even state that he might leave the club.
Since the arrival of Moyes, Manchester United has been struggling to retain their Premier League. A disappointing start of the season leaves them in the 8th place of the standings with 4 victories out of the 9 games played.

As.Roma’s midfielder Miralem Pjanic is a big target of the English club as he can fill in the position of the aging Ryan Giggs with a transfer expected to be around the region of £25 million.

United may have to pay more than £25m for Pjanic as Roma are adamant they do not want to sell midway through a remarkable campaign. The 23 year-old has been at the heart of a three-man midfield alongside another of Manchester United’s former targets, Daniele De Rossi and Kevin Strootman.
