Jermaine Jenas talked about the win over Burnley while he was on BBC Match of the Day as he praised the attacking trio of Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson. England international Wilson scored the only goal of the match five minutes from the half-time break as he pounced on the error from Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope. Newcastle United needed to win the game in the battle to avoid the drop and they were able to record a 1-0 win. The goal from Wilson gave Newcastle United their first league win of the season thus making the Magpies the final team to win a league game this season amongst the 92 professional teams in England.

The Newcastle United attacking trio of Allan Saint-Maximin, Callum Wilson and Joelinton were important to the win over the Clarets according to Jermaine Jenas who also praised the performance of Paraguay senior national team star Miguel Almiron who could have easily scored three goals during the Premier League clash with Burnley.

Newcastle United are the new moneybags in the Premier League, but they have their work cutout in the quest to survive relegation from the English top flight this season.
