QPR Still Hoping Jenas Could Heal Before Season Start
QPR midfielder Jermaine Jenas is currently nursing a long-term injury that could take more than six months to heal properly, but his club have not given up hope on the midfielder returning to action in the near future. The 31-year-old former England international has suffered several injuries over the course of his career. The latest is a cruciate ligament injury that is rumoured to have put him on the verge of announcing his retirement. Jenas was one of the key players for QPR in their promotion campaign last season. However, manager Harry Redknapp will not be able to rely upon the former Tottenham star in the first few months of the new season.
